The onsemi SiC3 (Silicon Carbide Crystal Center) is a research facility that enables the growth and processing of silicon carbide substrate materials. The facility research is driven by industry, government and academia via memberships in the Penn State Silicon Carbide Innovation Alliance (SCIA).
The Silicon Carbide Innovation Alliance will focus on a cooperative portfolio of industry-central pre-competitive fundamental research. Discover trusted relationships and partnerships for translating discoveries, networking with industry peers and customers, utilizing research facilities, recruiting students, and accessing intellectual property.
